Despite not officially fielding a team in the league this year, the Trinity College Bears took the drive west on the 401 to face our JV Blues in an exhibition match. From the beginning the Blues struggled with the size of their opponents from Port Hope. The Bears were able to run the ball at will while the Blues offence stalled on a number of occasions. This was not the best effort for the young Blues. Expectations were high coming off of a great game the week before against their foes from St. Michael’s College. Trinity played a great game and the Blues will return to the drawing board and get ready for their final regular season match versus the St. Andrew’s Saints on October 28th. Many lessons learned from this match which will most certainly be taken into our next battle.
