With the fourth victory coming just this past Sunday the Varsity Hockey Blues are right on track for their goal of becoming league champions. Tough play against Montreal based high school, Loyola, gave the Blues a challenge of maintaining their win streak. However, through hard work, offensive presence in the opposing zone and gritty, physical and relentless defensive pressure the Blues game out victorious in the end. With the help from the Blues goaltender Bryan Lansberger, the boys were able to keep the opposition to a no score game, while putting up two beautiful goals of their own. Those goals would prove to be the only points all game but was enough to clinch the lead and keep it until the final buzzer sounded. As mentioned by Coach Beaudoin, playing a team twice in only a few days is hard for any program, but the boys stuck to the game plan and were rewarded as a result with a 2-0 victory. As the week progresses, the Blues are looking forward to their first tournament and true test of competition on the November 10th weekend. Go Blues!

Beyond the physical play on the ice, sportsmanship and camaraderie reigned victorious as well shown in this photo between both the Captain of Loyola (Jeremy Iacobachi, left) and of the Blues (Ryder Thususka, right):
