The U14-U10 Track and Field program has had a long history of success at the CISAA Championships. In the past ten years UCC has won the overall Boys Championship eight times. This year was no exception and the boys place 1st at U11 and U12 on their way to capturing the Overall Boys Championship.
Special recognition to the following boys that broke school records and CISAA records this year:
U10: JP Mahony – 100m (15.07 – school record), JP Mahony – 200m (32.20 – school and CISAA record), Hunter Vilanez – 400m (1:12.80 school record), Gordon Wu, JP Mahony, Cameron Samek, Henry Metcalfe – 4x100m relay (1:02.80 – school and CISAA record), Jonah Dale – Discus (23.40m – school record).
U11: Spencer MacInnis – 200m (31.34 – school record), Spencer MacInnis – Javelin (28.10m – school and CISAA record).
U12: Brodie Bitove – High Jump (1.48m – school and CISAA record), Davey Seeman – 800m (2:32.43 – school and CISAA record).
U13: Jamie Selfe – Javelin (27.40m – school record)
U14: Colin O’Dwyer – Shot Put (9.70m – school record), Ethan Mistry – 400m (57.68 – school record), Ethan Mistry – 800m (2:15.98 – school record, Ethan Mistry – 1500m (4:36.66 – school record)
