The u10B Blue team travelled to Bayview Glen for their first away game of the season. Coming off a win in their first game, the boys had a lot of confidence as they took the court against Bayview Glen.

Unfortunately the boys forgot to bring what made them successful in their first game and perhaps under-estimated their opponents. We did not focus and were not hustling on defense and Bayview Glen came out firing on all cylinders. By the end of the first half Bayview Glen was winning 16 – 4.

UCC took a deep breath during the halftime break and refocused their energy on playing better team defense and working harder all the time. Unfortunately, the first half deficit was too much to overcome. UCC played a great second half with lots of passing, hustle and great defense. The final score was 28 – 22 for Bayview Glen who played a great game and deserved to win.

Hopefully our boys learned their lesson and bring more focus and determination to our next game right from the start.

Next game is an away game against the Country Day School.
