The u10A soccer team took their perfect win streak and travelled to TFS for an away game against the defending champions. Going into the game we knew it would be a challenge as TFS was also undefeated and have a history of strong team play.
We were missing both goalies and a couple of players so knew it would be an uphill battle. The boys were challenged to play different positions and all of them stepped-up to the plate. This was a game of character-building.
We started strong and led 2 – 0 after the first couple of shifts. However, as the game wore on, TFS turned on the offense with quick transitions. With an unfortunate penalty shot goal against us late in the game, TFS won the game.
There were great lessons learned in this game and the boys are ready to move forward; even stronger than ever.
Thanks again to all the parents who came out to support our boys. Off to Sterling Hall next week!
