The Blues took on Loyola College from Montreal on Saturday evening. There were plenty of spectators on hand to watch the affair. The first period was a feeling out process and neither team had many quality scoring opportunities and ended with no score. The between period speech by coach Beaudoin must have been inspiring as the Blues came out flying and scored four unanswered goals to take a lead that they would not give up. There play in the second was strong at both ends of the ice as Blues gave up very few opportunities as well.
In the third the Blues continued to press dominating Loyola. The final score was 6-1 and in fact the one goal the Blues gave up came off the skate of one of their own defenseman spoiling an otherwise perfect effort by Joe Howe.
The Blues will complete their double header tomorrow morning at 10am.
