Coming off of a great victory, the U16A Blues were poised to build on the momentum that they had created in defeating the Saints from St. Andrew’s. The U16A Basketball team braved yet another winter storm and headed north to face their nemesis from Aurora in their third and final match versus the Saints. On Monday afternoon the U16A Basketball team resumed their 2017-18 campaign as they visited the Kerry Blues. The game got off to a very sluggish start offensively. After a tough Winterfest loss to St. Andrew’s, the U16A Blues got back on the horse to face their rivals from Crescent School in the Upper School Old Gym. The U16A Blues Basketball team coming off of a month break due to exams and holidays, were eager to resume their 2017-18 season again. Their first game was against the tough team from Crestwood. On Monday evening, the U16A Blues faced an extremely tough squad from Crestwood. Probably the most talented team in our league, Crestwood’s roster presented a plethora of challenges for our boys. U16A Basketball Early Season Wrap-Up

The final U16A Basketball Team was announced at the end of the last tryout on November 18, 2016.   Since then, under the leadership of Coaches Al Northcott and Gary Zuliani, the team has jumped quickly into regular practices, hosted a tournament at UCC and continued to polish their team skills playing some strong competitors.
