Grade 6 Hockey wins CISAA Championship

The grade six hockey team capped off a very successful season winning the CISAA Championship. The Blues entered the tournament as the top ranked team. First up in the morning was SAC school.  The Blues got out to a quick start and never looked back. Blues Win U12 Hockey Championships

The Gr. 6 Hockey team went into Friday’s CISAA Championships Tournament with an undefeated season and the number one seed. In the semifinal game they faced off against St. Andrew’s College. The Blues had to battle hard in the first and second, but were able to take a 3-0 lead. The third proved fruitful as the added two more goals to finish with a 5-0 win. Grade 6 Hockey takes on SHS

After their impressive win at the the LCC Invitational Tournament the boys settled in their march towards the CISAA Championship. As has has been the case all year, the line up was effected by the grade 6 trips to Norval. Every game is a different line up with players being asked to play in unfamiliar situations. Grade 6 Hockey Takes On Crescent School

Game Photos The grade 6 team was ready to face their cross town rivals fro Crescent School. The game was played at Fenside arena,  a smaller ice surface that seemed would benefit the home team. Grade 6 Hockey wins LCC Invitational Tournament

Tournament Photos The grade 6 hockey keeps rolling along. Following up their win at the UCC Boyd Caldwell tournament the boys travelled east to Montreal to compete in the LCC Invitational Tournament. Many players were reunited with their billet partners from the UCC Tournament. It was great to see boys catching up with new friends. Grade 6 Hockey Wins Boyd Caldwell

Tournament Photos The grade 6 hockey team won the Boyd Caldwell Hockey Tournament in impressive style. The boys played well on the first day and were not really challenged. Starting against their LCC billets, the Blues jumped to a quick lead and never looked back. Next up was John Ross Robertson Public School. U12 Hockey ( Grade 6) Start Season Strong

Boys on the grade 6 hockey team started the season strong. Up next for the Blues was a trip up the 404 to play SAC. The unpredictability of Toronto traffic resulted in an adventurous ride with the trip taking much longer than anticipated. The start time of the game was pushed back 30 minutes. The Blues played their first game of the season today against the Knights from Royal St. George’s. They got off to a great season scoring three unanswered goals in the first six minutes of play. Strong goaltending at the Blue’s end kept RSGC off the scoreboard for a while, but eventually a strong shot that caught the inside of the post got the Knights on the board. U12 (Gr. 6) Hockey Follows Undefeated Season With CISAA Championship

The U12 (Gr. 6) Blues finished their season yesterday with a CISAA Championship. They played Crescent School  in the semifinals and after a tight first period that ended in a 1-1 tie, the Blues seemed to regather their team game and took a commanding 4-1 lead.
