Game Photos Your blue shirted heroes dispatched of pesky SAC in the CISAA semi-final game.  After a sloppy start to the game, UCC found their rhythm and jumped out to a quick lead. This years’s U14 lacrosse team is made up from boys in grade 7 and 8. The grade 8 boys are looked to provide leadership to the boys in grade 7 who for some are new to the game of field lacrosse. In a classic rematch from last year’s Championship Game, UCC was the decided underdog in their game with SMC. It was an game that both teams played nervously resulting in some costly turnovers.  SMC jumped out to an early lead and UCC kept the game close with solid defense and good goaltending. The U14 lacrosse team played perhaps their best half of lacrosse this season. Jumping out to early start,  the Blues dominated the face off and capitalized on some early fast breaks and led 5-1 at the half. UCC was invited to Everest College for a couple of exhibitions games. The team used it as teaching time to help the boys who are new to the sport to become more familiar with the game. The results were not as important as the boys gaining valuable playing experience. The U14 lacrosse team opened up their season splitting their games played at SMC. As defending champions,  the squad is prepared for the other school to play their best against them. The team opened up against KCS and played a very efficient game winning 4-0.
