UCC5 Softball Team Finishes 5th at CISAA Championships

The Blues has a terrific season of softball going into the final 9 team tournament ranked 5th. They had a slow start against a strong Crescent team and lost their first game 8-0. U11 Softball Peaking At the Right Time

The Blues played their best game of the season yesterday against last year’s CISAA Silver Medalists. The U11 team fielded well, holding Montcrest to 1 run in the first five innings and scoring 9 of their own. U11 Softball Suffers Tough Loss

The Blues played one of the quickest seven inning games in softball history clocking in at just over an hour. The boys played the Sterling Hall School and the game was scoreless after three complete innings with only 11 batters coming to the plate for each team over the three innings. The Blues played three great games this morning during the cool Spring weather. They started their day against the UCC 6A team and played some outstanding defense holding the older boys to zero runs in three of the five innings.
